It'd a toughie, I'm going to have to include a few I wasn't there for aswell. I think a counter thread of 5 worst Wolves games would be just as difficult. These may not be Wolves top 5 games but some of these were an emotional touch to them.
Wolves 2 Blackburn 3 c1990 - an odd game to include but my first one, I'd been pestering my dad for a while to take me and he reluctantly agreed, although he likes football he's never been keen to go. I was sat seemingly a mile away from the pitch, I watched an aging Frank Stapleton scored a hatrick, we'd gone 2 down to get back on level terms to chuck it away. I was transfixed though!
Wolves 3 Millwall 1 - a Mark Burke masterclass, the last game in the SB and a memorable visit to the game with my brother and his mates. I also remember getting on central news celebrating and having to hide it from my mum as I'd told her I never went in there.
Wolves 3 Sheffield U 0 - play offs final and only game on my list I wasn't at. I was working away alot and struggled to follow us much beyond catching up on the results. As it was all over by half time it was a nice experience to enjoy celebrating the game, was a crazy day/night.
Wolves 5 Forest 1 2008 - wow, this felt like the real deal, just pure brilliant. Mick was great timing for me and his team helped me give me an interest and distraction to help get my life back on track. Was it 4-1 against Wednesday the week before? Then the demolition of Bristol City and Mcindoe the twat, it was a great start to a season.
Wolves 3 Arsenal 1 2019 - for some reason I'd always hated arsenal, not 100% sure why. Even when they were great to watch I had an irrational dislike of them. This was further fueled by our battles with them under Mick and after a couple of close results in our first season this game was just glorious, we won at an absolute cruise.
its tough not to include the UEFA games which were amazing and so lucky to have gone to all the home games, also many games in Nunos championship season, that Villa at home game I knew we were going up, Jota looked a class above anything I'd ever seen and I'm positive that Neves nearly scored from the halfway line, Bristol away, Cardiff away, so so many classics
