Farage Ltd and Similar Watch

My first one was £1.76 per hour so went back to college, was better off with the grant and got a holiday job paying £5 per hour, felt like a fortune compared to the Microfilm Bureau
 
Great stuff how I got to work for the Melted Thundercat Cunt.

Finished uni in June 2003. Contract at HBOS didn't start until August. I had literally £42 left of my overdraft (no actual money). So what am I going to do.

Went down to Wednesfield Job Centre (it's not there any more) to see if I could claim dole and/or if they had anything for me. A) No, you need to phone this number, and we don't think you can and B) No.

Bollocks. Fuck it, I'm going for a pint.

Talked myself into a job just chatting to the bar staff (wasn't even hustling for work, just talking) and started the very next day.

Would never ever ever happen now, they hadn't got a clue who I was, I could have been anyone.

Mar owd mon worked dine the pit. On top his wages he (along with other colliery workers, etc) received an annual 'award' of a free ton of coal.

My first full time job, I was on £618 p.a. salary.

They dont think like that though. They have no interest in or understanding of the economy and how it actually works.

I'm reminded of the (possibly urban myth) story of Henry Ford showing off car building robots to Ford union rep:

"Looking forward to seeing these robots join your union."
"And I'm looking forward to seeing them buy your cars."
 
That sounds probably apocryphal. Ford died in 1947. He had assembly lines with moving belts for years but they were manned by workers. To whom he paid a higher wage than anybody else in Detroit by the look of it. He didn't get on with the unions for a long time, but when they were allowed in he said they were the best thing to happen to his company, and he invited them to work with him to beat the other car makers and Wall Street.

He had some very dodgy Nazi affiliations, and certainly seems to have been an anti-semite, but nothing seems to suggest he was particularly anti-workforce.

He's a racist wanker, behind a series of companies that encourage fraudulent insurance claims. Also a fair amount of local rumours he & his cronies are drug dealers.
Lives in a 600k house.
