Farage Ltd and Similar Watch

What Right-Wing man doesnt like to admit to himself is .......🇬🇧🗳😳

The kettle clicks and Right-Wing Man pours the water.

One sugar.
Splash of milk.

Sits down at the kitchen table.

The telly’s on low.
Morning news.
Something about the weather.
Something about Iran again.

His wife’s moving around in the kitchen.
Cupboards opening and closing.
One of the kids shouting upstairs about their trainers.

Normal morning.

Right-Wing Man picks up his phone.

Scroll.
Scroll.
Scroll.

Another story about small boats crossing the Channel.

He shakes his head.

“Why can’t they just send them back to France?”

“Simple as that.”

Scroll again.

He lands on something he’s never heard of before.

The Dublin Agreement.

He taps it.

Starts reading.

Before Brexit, Britain was part of a system that allowed us to send asylum seekers back to the first EU country they entered.

France.
Italy.
Greece.

Wherever they came in.

Right-Wing Man stops stirring his tea.

Reads it again.

Slowly.

When Britain left the EU…
it left that system too.

He looks up from his phone.

“Do what?”
“You mean before Brexit…”
“The Brexit I voted for…”
“…we could actually send them back?”

He leans back in his chair.

The telly’s still talking about immigration.

Then something else comes back to him.

£350 million a week for the NHS.
That bus.
That promise.

He scrolls again.

Sees Nigel Farage talking about immigration.
Again.

Right-Wing Man frowns.

“Funny that…”

Talks about Parliament all the time…

but you never see him in there fixing anything.

The tea’s gone cold now.
The house carries on around him.

But for the first time in a long while…

Right-Wing Man isn’t just angry.

He’s thinking.

And after a while, he mutters quietly to himself…
“Do you know what…

I think I’m gonna vote Restore Britain instead.”

And just like that…
the penny nearly dropped.

His vote counts the same as yours or mine.

I don't care how much of a stuck up, faux-intellectual, elitist knob it makes me sound, there should be a test.

He's the leader of a Party that claims they are targeting Government so it's not "just my opinion"

I like his "if someone wants to work for peanuts let them" line.

Loads of people will be delighted with the opportunity to do that

Mr Lowe actually backs the min wage so he has lost Derek's vote

"Just my opinion" is always a cracking sign off for someone who has just said something cunty.

Much like some who says "no offence but.." before being offensive.
With the greatest respect

I'm fairly sure I was on under £5 an hour when I worked in Spoons (yes I know, I'm sorry) directly after leaving uni in 2003. Pretty scandalous really.

You'll get all the even olders on here telling us about their pay being a lump of coal now...

So here is my contribution
My first wage
YTS - £29.50 a week.
First hourly pay - £1.10

Felt like I was loaded when I got a job that paid £3.30 ph and triple time on Bank Holidays. Loved working over Easter
