Farage Ltd and Similar Watch

He's going big on FB/Twitter lately with paid ads. Popping up even though I clearly don't think that way.

One very easy solution.

I get loads - I engage with quite a lot of far right material (laughing, abuse etc) so I get exposed to a fair bit.
 
Farage - Labour are clearly in breach of US electoral laws by sending volunteers to the States who have their travel and accommodation funded....


But in the register of members’ interests Farage declares as a donation worth £32,836 flights and accommodation paying for him to visit the Republican convention in July. Under purpose of the visit, he says: “To support a friend who was almost killed and to represent Clacton on the world stage.” The donation was from a British cryptocurrency investor, Christopher Harborne.

And, as Rowena Mason revealed in the Guardian last week, in the register Farage did not mention the free PR support he got from a Republican PR firm during the trip, or the fact that the company settled his $3,531.10 hotel bill.
 
Labour do seem to be coming across a bit 'dim' lately. There is nothing wrong with Labour sending volunteers to aid the Democrats but the wording in her (chief of operations) social media posts "we can cover your accommodation'' suggests financial help.

Yeah sending was the wrong word, more encouraging I suppose. The words of the original post did suggest that Labour might pay for their accommodation.
 
21 local elections next May, I think they'll do pretty well unfortunately. No overall controls obviously but they'll definitely hoover up seats.

The WFA thing is massively unpopular, Labour have lost pretty much all good will with the electorate already, people won't be ready to go back to the conservatives, so think we'll see basically choosing between Lib Dems and Reform as a protest vote

Edit to say that I think Labour's play is to get the rancidly unpopular stuff done early doors and hope that come 2029 people will have forgotten about it and the overall picture of life in the UK has improved in terms of economy, cozzy livs, immigration etc

I'm not surprised some of Labour's decisions have gone down badly, but I am surprised just how quickly their good will has disappeared, its like the last 14 years never happened.

Very much so, they have a massive majority that is also wafer thin. The next election will probably deliver a coalition and it is a toss up whether it is a Con/Reform coalition or Lab/others.
 
Just the predictable immigration stuff. The boats are pouring across and getting worse under Labour. At least the Tories tried to stop them but Labour and the radical left blocked all attempts, Starmer is waving them across and emptying prisons to lock up anyone who posts on Facebook that something needs to be done whilst terrorist sympathisers scream abuse in the streets while police watch on.

For way too many people their politics begin and end there.
