Gallagher is pointless really as he is completely non objective in his opinion, if he can find a way to defend the ref he’ll do it.
 
I think it's a red. He didn't need to do that, reminds me of when Mings stood on someone's head.
 
First time I saw that Duran incident I didn't think it was a red . I still don't . Awkward , but not reckless , just couldn't stop .

My post wasn't about whether it's a red or not, it's about the fundamentally flawed reason as to why one was given and the ineffectiveness of the process in place

Yeah I agree, if nothing else he should checking the screen.

However, the VAR can't "over rule" the ref, but he should be insisting he checks the screen.
 
His left foot gives way and where else is he meant to put his right foot. If he wanted to do him he’d do a Mings and stamp. But he barely puts any weight down and tries not to hence why his foot slides rather than digging in
