Credit to BC who gave it a good go in the second half after being pretty tepid in the first.
Need to remember they were the home team in form.
Yeh , second half we gave them too much space and possession and dropped off to often so got to be happy to get into the next round.
Most lower league teams know how to come at us and we’re now managing to add a bit of resilience to our game, with a bit of luck along the way.
Just watched Doncaster v Palace, what a crap game! Absolutely no atmosphere and more like a training session. Rather watch a game with bit of needle any day even though my heart can’t sand much more.

They did have a couple of shots from inside our six yard box that they really could and should have done better with tbf.

Ruddy M.O.M. for me, a couple of good saves, when he came for the ball he got it and his distribution was generally good bar a couple of overhit kicks. Bristol C are a useful side, I was quite impressed with them second half.
Good game to watch for the neutral, tense for the rest of us!

I think if MGW scores it's a real sucker punch and game over. The game then fizzles out just as the Chelsea game at Molineux did when Diego Costa scored their second.

As is, the let up gave them more belief and we cranked the pressure up. We went to the form team in all four divisions scored one, hit the woodwork twice and had two glorious chances spurned. Another day that game is 3-0 and over by half time.

That was one of those games that whilst watching it is nervy as hell but when you look back we actually defending pretty well and restricted them to long range shots and a couple chances in the area but if they go in you are disapointed we failed to stop them. Fair play to Bristol for the switch they made in the 2nd half. It pushed us back and limited our attacking ability but you have to ask what the frig they did in the 1st half. Set up in a way that was perfect for how we play and we should have put the game to bed by HT.

Should have been 3 up at half time, Johnson saying there was a legit handball in the build up to the goal is delusional. Yes Brizzle had a good penalty claim in the 2nd half and caused us to sit back but it wasnt the alimo plus MGW could have finished it off earlier.

It was never a handball for the goal. It bounced up from close range and quickly with no time to react. Has to be more deliberate than that. Johnson is just talking smack for his fans.

To be fair to Claridge I have a thing against him.

Comfortably in the top 3 most hated players to pull on a Wolves shirt.

5 games for us and didn't even have a shot on target, looked idle and unfit, played ahead of Keane and Bull in the semi final.

THEN scores a hat trick for Pompey against us and scores and wins(?) The penalty for Millwall that aided our spiral into third when all those points clear of Albion.

He's a cunt.
