Painful to watch. Regardless of whether we were just going through the motions and doing bare minimum to get us through, it showed some of the tactical issues we have. My hope is that when Podence comes back, Dendoncker being our highest positioned midfielder won't be a thing anymore as it's so predictable to watch.
The fact Boly had to deal with the aerial balls made him our best outfield player but no one really deserves any praise individually. Vitinha showed some nice touches at time, but for him and some of the other younger ones you could see it was a culture shock for them, so hopefully they are better for the experience.
Don't think anyone is under any illusions that we will have to play better against Chelsea... but we are through, and that was all I actualyl care about from this game with two important games next week to come.
