Ex-Wolf Watch

The Cambridge fans I know are raving about him. "A level above the rest of them" was one comment I heard. Not sure he'll save them from the drop though.
Got to be one of the surprise packages of recent years, expected him to be back up to Danny Batth, turned out to be a very good CB in our team at the time.
Wonder if Dawson will ve the 'new' Benno?

He's never getting away from that and won't be thought of in the way he could have been. Even though if you take his side of the story on face value it's very different from how it was portrayed at the time

Ah, life's too short to feel like a scorned lover because Kightly went to Stoke. I loved him as a player, would get genuinely excited to watch him play.

I loved that game. Kightly and Jarvis were magnificent that day.
Yep, was there and didn't think I'd see a Wolves side play much better in my lifetime. Football is weird!

I listened to the old gold podcast but can’t remember his side so a brief summary would be lovely!

The other side is that he said he was staying to ?LJ on a pre season tour he was staying but then weeks later forced a move to stoke?

With the added annoyance that he’d been injured for years then got fit and left.

Not listened to it since it came out but from what I remember something along the lines of he asked Solbakken if he was part of his plans to which he said he didn't know who he was, Kightly then asked if he'd be better off leaving and was told to do what he wants, so he left

I don't blame him for leaving, telling fibs isn't really on though. Still though very odd to hold a grudge against someone who cost pennies and was brilliant for us. Not like we're short of absolutely shite players to dislike.

He's the one player who tests my 'its their job and I'd do what's best for me aswell' viewpoint to players moving on. It really grated at the time, I'm not really arsed now mind just remember how good he was for us for that 18 month period.

Shame Flamengo aren't owned by the chap who owned Grays.
He could have flicked us the v's when Man Utd came sniffing during his loan spell but he stuck to the agreed £25k deal with us
