Ex-Wolf Watch

For those who like to feel old, Wayne Hennessey is 36 today.
I distinctly remember the morning of the play-semi final (first leg) against the Albion and the rumours pouring in around the ground that Murray was injured and Hennessey was due to play.

May 2007, I think (certainly before anyone had the internet on their phone to check the veracity of the rumour). Hennessey looked about 13, but was probably 19.

He's a good shot stopper and people had myriad opportunities to see that skill in action the year we went down. I think that inflated his reputation some.

I was in the directors box with squeeze as she won the flash tickets. We were next to Stuart Pearce. Which was enjoyable

Dave Edwards confirms he's finishing at the end of Bala's season. There'll be a Shrewsbury vs Wolves Legends game to see him off.

Great servant to the club, asked to do too much for far too long.

Suspect he'll have a good media/pundit/commentary career now. Nice guy, as others have said.

Playing in his first Cup Final as well tomorrow.

Welsh League Cup versus Connah's Quay

Doherty being strongly linked with Atletico.

Simeone and him do not seem a brilliant fit.
