Ex-Wolf Watch

The best teeth in football are staying in Charlotte til 2026!

Shout outs to Nathan, I really didn’t know if he could cut it but he’s been immense this season.

I saw a clip of Thierry Henry arguing with somebody the other day, no idea who he was, but was an American ex-pro. Thierry kept saying "Mike, my point is that the quality of the Americans in *the* MLS now is nowhere near what it was in my time there" and this Mike twat didn't get it and said, to the actual Thierry Henry..."Yeah but I replaced you" as a burn. Like what the fuck Mike. Who even are you.

But if The MLS is good enough for Titi, it's good enough for Richie

Mike Grella. A giant of the game.

The urgency of this is absolutely hysterical to me mate

Fwiw I think Thierry is way off base but he’s always had that arrogance to him. Made him the player he was. He at least cares about the league more than a lot of his contemporaries (ie, late-stage imports) did/do.

Tony has it!

Tbh I don't know who was right in terms of the quality of Americans playing domestically. If somebody me offered me £1k for every single American MLS ever that I could name, I doubt I'd even be going on holiday with my winnings.

In fact for shiggles: Clint Dempsey, Tim Howard, Freddy Adu, Cristian Pulisic, the beardy defender from 1996. Stuart Dallas. Ben Bender, obviously. Erm. Is George Weah's son one? I can't get the name Marcelo Salas out of my head but I think I'm confusing the aforementioned beardy defender with a Colombian. Or a Chilean.

Got to be six grand there, but that won't get us far these days in the school holidays. All inclusive in Tunisia please Bob.

I'll give you Weah, though he never played a senior game for Red Bulls before PSG bought him. Get yourself something nice in Tunis.

(I have no idea if Tunis is a vacation spot; honestly I think most Americans would be utterly baffled by the idea of vacationing to North Africa)

Alexi Lalas.

What could have been. Watching some of those goals made me realise how low we have fallen in quality.

Whilst looking for the height of Goodman (5ft 10) i found this quote from Mick :)

Mick McCarthy, the Millwall manager, summed up the fracas nicely. 'They are a pair of tarts for fighting for the ball in the first place,' he said. 'To be fair, they could both have gone. The way Keller was playing it might have been a good thing.'
