Agree but, again, that’s on him.

No one asked him to replace a fucking shit keeper with an even fucking shittier one.

Or buy a £25m central midfielder when we already have about ten of them.

And no centre halves.
Depends whether you think he has the ultimate say in who we sign or want. I’d say he doesn’t have control, or at the very least full control

It's not, it's Hobbs and Shi. He had no more say in the signing of Andre than you or I did.
That signing, as good as he is just shows how fucked up we are with our thinking.

Manager wants a CB....we set a budget of £15m. Even generic meh ones are more than that.
He wants a keeper - Again a set budget with no room to move.

Got to think of PSR, Gazzer

Ooooh found a shiny midfielder in Brazil that will cost more than we are willing to give you for 2 players you want...signed him. You are very welcome Gaz

I'd stick with Rodrigo on the left as he was the only winger we had trying to beat his full-back and get into the box against Brentford. Bellegarde isn't ideal but we need someone who'll help Doherty defend down that side of the pitch. Knowing GON though he'd play Lemina there just to get him on the pitch, as he has done before. I'm not totally averse to that away from home, but it makes us a bit lopsided in attack.

I wouldn't play a fanny like Rodrigo against a Dyche team, personally

Just took a look at Grand Old Team forum and most of their fans are bricking it. Not looking forward to the game at all and basically see this as their biggest opportunity to get rid of Dyche if they lose.

As we know, we can score goals and they can't. Unfortunately, we have the worst defence in the league. I'd love to get another victory at Goodison but I have no clue which Wolves team will turn up tonight. It has the hallmarks of a 0-0 or 1-1 but hopeful we can take our chances and make the game comfortable. It's certainly winnable but we have GON and who knows what he is going to set this team up to do.

Simple answer... creative players appreciate more in value than defenders. Of course, there are some exceptions but when the game plan is to buy low and sell high, you have more chance with midfielders.

GON's unique work ethic is practically worth a goal start, surely

I'll have the house to myself (well apart from my little one in bed), game on Prime and fridge full of beer...so a night of numb horror is ensured

Evertonians at work aren't confident at all. Their fixtures for the next month and a bit are really challenging, this is must win for them. Most don't fancy them to score, don't think they know how little control we have of games.

I think we can outscore them. They are so wasteful in front of goal, we will concede but might be able to score more than one at win. But similarly not confident, for me this is must not lose rather than must win. Deny Everton three points and they are in serious trouble. I'd love an early goal as Goodison will turn.

Doherty might just work as he is generally decent in the air. Pretty much sums up our squad development over last couple of years that he’s even under consideration.
