Everton 1-2 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Couple of observations, if Adamas cross hadn't been deflected it would have gone well behind both men in the box (bout time we had some of that luck) and at least a couple of times the full backs glared daggers at Sa when he put them under unnecessary pressure

You do create your own luck, too. There have been plenty of times where there wouldn’t have been anyone in the box to pick up that deflected cross!

Good job I’ve got a week off work. Getting too old to be celebrating last minute winners like a teenager. What a result though. Missed away days like today.

It would have got to Costa the deflection put it behind and to RAN

Nothing we didnt know before this game, but it did highlight again the need for a CB ASAP.

Collins is only 21 so plenty of time for him to come good but for now he shouldn't be starting and we need a more experienced option next to Kilman.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Nunes has a bad back in the morning after sliding off the pitch like that!

So 2 out of 2 for Lopetegui, and 2 in 2 for Ait-Nouri. Both injury time goals. I fully expect him to start against Man Utd.

None of the players can complain about not being given a fresh start with JL, they've pretty much all had minutes and chances.

I imagine he's still in the process of sussing them all out, to do so while still winning is key, so today's a good start

He seems to be hitting a run of form and Bueno needs to be taken out of the firing line. Obviously it’s too early to get excited but 2 out of 2 will do this squad the world of good. Feels like there is a bit more togetherness now too.

It was a proper full on mental celebration from him. Love it.

On our winning goal. That is some distance covered by RAN. When Max passes to Nunes he is still sat in his left back position.
