We'll probably lose now I've said this but of the 3 you'd have taken Germany at the start.
If Germany play like that against England they will lose
You should never, ever, ever even think about making such statements about Germany. They could be awful but still beat us!If Germany play like that against England they will lose
I think England will send them home and produce the performance of the tournament for them. It’s complete motivation. It’s the game they wanted. Germany are beatable.we'll be too busy cowering in the corner to capitalise on those weaknesses.
Not this year. You should never, ever, ever even think about making such statements about Germany. They could be awful but still beat us!
Ok fair enough.Well I didn’t say that. I said you’ve got to beat what’s in front of you. I then also never mentioned a final. I said I’d rather lose in the last 16 and bin the manager then shithouse our way to a semi and lose to the first semi competent team we play and then keep the manager and waste another golden generation at the next tournaments.
If we can shithouse our way to a final then yes, all for it. Anyone can win the final on the day. But that wasn’t my version of events.
Anyone with any kind of managerial record? Take your pick of anyone who has had some level of success recently and actually has some interest in the English team and speaks English.Ok fair enough.
Just out of interest, who do you think is waiting in the wings to replace Southgate?
For all his faults he's the best manager we've had for a long while.
Posted by a poster with Deutsch in his user name! Time to believe England can actually do this and make the last 8Germany are shit.
Knocked out of the last World Cup at the group stage. Lost 6-0 to Spain. Lost at home to North Macedonia. Would have been relegated from the Nations League top group if they hadn't changed the rules. Just scrambled a draw with Hungary. Lame duck manager.
Believe me, there is nothing to fear there, it is not 2010 now.
Apparently Dean Smith is the favourite!Ok fair enough.

Welshman Steve Cooper? It's hardly awe inspiring, imagine the average England fans' reaction to that appointment.Anyone with any kind of managerial record? Take your pick of anyone who has had some level of success recently and actually has some interest in the English team and speaks English.
Cooper knows the set up. Give it him
