Well don’t call one of our best players of the tournament dogshit.Chill out….
I don’t think he was very good.
Who mentioned the rest of the tournament??Well don’t call one of our best players of the tournament dogshit.
Agree with this. Don`t know why he changed tactics for the second half though, it was suicidal. Grealish should have come on much earlier.Bolloxs, its a sad way to end the tournament.
Subs were too late and the penalty order seemed a bit odd. On balance felt that Italy deserved it, they worked us out and we did nothing about it until the last 10 minutes.
They are all hero's though, absolute fantastic tournament, just the wrong side of the coin toss that is a penalty shoot out.
Yep. Thoroughly enjoyed it, bar 1 pen shoot out. Surprised by that as I hated almost every minute of last season and expected the tournament to be the same and I would end up just watching England and a few other games. In the end I watched as much as I could and got annoyed when there wasn't a 2pm game and rest days appeared. The competition as a whole has been excellent.
Totally agree about Bellingham. I think Rice and Bellingham could be very goodYeah Italy were probably on balance the best team through the tournament, certainly tonight.
I agreed with Rashford and Sancho being brought on for the pens as they're both generally good when taking for their clubs but should've been done much sooner. In fact I'm disappointed Sancho didn't start, feel he would have had a field day against Emerson - Mount didn't really do a huge amount (not that he was alone in that) - we've seen first hand Sterling can be poor at pens so not hugely surprised he didn't step up.
Sterling probably best England player for the tournament but Shaw runs him very close - very impressive from him. Not convinced by Rice and Phillips, would like to see Bellingham bedded in ASAP.
ThisThe right team won, we were very good first half (Rice, Kane and both wing backs were all excellent) but we could never get a grip on the game from then on and we never looked like scoring again, hanging on at times.
Rice was absolutely done physically, not criticising him coming off but Henderson had a shocker. Of course the manager can't predict that because he's done well off the bench in other games.
Have to say that our final three penalties were awful. Especially with two of them from players brought on specifically for that purpose.
Oh well. Congratulations Italy, the better team on the night and in truth over the tournament. It's been a great run and the competition as a whole has been excellent.
I dont think it needed a change, certainly not to drop back 20 yardsTo win that game, having been in front it needed a brave change whilst still leading. We didn’t do it and ultimately that cost us. Delighted to have reached a final, devastated to lose it, proud of the manager and all of the players.
