Euro 2020

yes you have home advantage but it is two tough games left, dont think it is that straight forward as you say at all--Denmark are playing for Christian Eriksen and Italy has not lost in 33 straight games so...

Oh right did someone say it was straight forward?

England are better man for man than both.

However the game is not played on paper. Anything can happen, red card, mistake Villa V Sheff Utd GDS failure.

I would not swap any of Italy's team for ours, as for the Subs not one ofbtheir subs would get in our team, yet our front players would get in their first 11

Not to be a dick or anything, but I'm struggling to see England as definitively better than Italy.
Spot on. I would take Donnarumma, Chiesa and Verratti and put them in team of the tournament. Only Sterling so far from England would be in it. You dont go 30+ games unbeaten without being a good team. England have to dig in and beat a Denmark team that are workmanlike and efficient, but very capable of beating England as proved in the Nations League. Tough game tonight.

There is a difference between stating that England have better players than Italy and Denmark - they do - and that saying we will beat Italy and Denmark.

I mean yes it can be annoying when they do this problem is the BBC don’t have advert breaks so often need to fill gaps.
Reality is you can see straight through this tweet and see what he really means.

Short memories. When Wales were steaming ahead in Euro 2016 and to some extent here you would have thought 90% of England was welsh! This smacks of political posturing. Can we trade Scotland sport scene back Graeme Souness, Ally McCoist for some of their English pundits north of the border. Oh wait. Chris Sutton. No you can keep him.

Any news leaked on the team for tonight yet?

I'd stick with the same formation and toss the coin between Sancho/Foden/Saka on the right. It worked against the 3 at the back that Ukraine started with and although Denmark will pose a far greater threat, I'll be happier that we are taking the game to them rather than matching them in terms of formation.

The rumour is Saka for Sancho and everything else the same.

Athletic confirmed in their customary leak
