Italy looked very strong last night, they've only really not looked good in one game, I'll be happy if we make the final.........obviously if we don't win it then, I'll be having a proper rant,

Suppose the points been made several times on here of the general poor quality of the managers in the tournament.

3 serie A's and a Premier League (granted a few years ago) on your CV is a level above the majority of managers in the tournament.

I think we’d struggle against Italy - we’ll won’t create many chances whereas they will.

I hope Belgium replace Martinez and give another manager a chance to get an outstanding squad of players to perform at the WC. If they’ve got a couple of younger centre backs they could still challenge.

Let's not forget that although Italy won it was a tight game and Belgium were the better side in the 2nd half. Should have equalised.

There's not many international tournaments won by great club managers though. Over the past 20 years you could offer Lippi and Del Bosque. Even then Del Bosque won all his club honours at Real Madrid and had one of the greatest generations of footballers of all time.
