anyone who has spent any serious time in Spain will know....YOU DO NOT FUCK WITH THE GUARDIA CIVIL!!!

Amen brother. Th Guardia are para military, they want to fight they train to fight.
They need no excuse to smash any and all people in the way. There is no restriction and no requirement for guilt, just being there is enough

This is them fighting Catalonian police after their independence referendum!

Even the Spaniards give the Guardia a wide Berth.
Policia Local, are armed Traffic Wardens owned by the Mayor, if you speak spanish you can get away with arguing with them. If you cannot speak Spanish say nothing else you will get a baton accross the head just for being a Giri.

Policia Nacionals are the most professional and not to bad to deal with, as long as you dont argue with them, they are fine and are generally quite helpful.
Guardia were Franco's hench men, thousands of Spanish dissapeared at the hands of them, they still strike fear in most spanish citizens, and residents.

There is absolutely no control, or complaints process against them police in Spain, they can and do, do exactly as they want.
Corruption by them is no where near as bad as it was, but as a Giri, once you have had a beating, you will still get taken to the cash point for a donation by some tho not all.

Bit of advice please - BT Sport do a month pass (which will cover the next round as well as long as we don't completely feck up tonight's game) so makes it a viable financial option as I won't be able to do away legs. (will just have to remember to cancel if we get knocked out as it just rolls over each month on the card if you don't).

Their website is less than clear to say the least & the devices they list that you can watch on doesn't include what I have (though that may be due to the way they define them on the site) - assume that I can access via a standard PC/Broadband route? (have a Now TV stick attached to the TV, but not sure that that will access BT). Don't want to pay £25 then find that I cannot access.

Yep just straight through their website is fine.

I've got BT through Virgin, I also have an app on my phone on which I can watch it.

Sorry but not tried it through a PC.

Parkin - I have the BT Sport app and I 'cast' from my phone to the telly. It's bloody awful (although that may be our internet) and it's like watching the game on a dial-up connection. That said, it's better than nothing. I'm technically incompetent and have two pages of written instructions on how to cast. So if you're going to do it, do it quickly as it takes me about 10-15 to go through the whole process. Picture on a phone or iPad is much better, who who wants to watch Wolves on their phone. Best of luck with it

If you have Windows 10 you can download the BT Sports App for desktop. That's how I watch as I can't cast my phone to my TV without constant buffering.

Oh and just a reminder that today's game is a 17:55 kickoff, not 8pm.

I missed a first half in the group stages because of that!

Thanks all - really not watching on a mobile (my eyesight wouldn't be able to cope with that now).

Looks like via the website is OK so will bite the bullet & pay.

Well seems to have worked - though confused BT when I went to login as my personal email is used for 2 business accounts as well & it took a few minutes to get a work around with that!
