Dean Watch.

He's still got an eye for a player. Just signed 31 year old Dean Morgan from Woking. Made his Football League debut in November 2000 - 51 career FL goals.

"This is probably an unexpected opportunity for him again to play in League One and I believe he will take it," said manager Dean Saunders.

Unlucky yesterday of course. "Nothing between the teams. We just need to get a win." Not quite born out by the stats as Fleetwood had 15 shots to Crawley's 4 - and sadly the old eye of the tiger is still missing as none of the four were on target. Meanwhile Crawley appear to have slumped to the foot of the table under Deano's leadership

Crawley Town boss Dean Saunders told BBC Sussex:

"There was nothing in the game, both goalkeepers hardly had a lot to do but they score from a set-play right on half time, which is a free-kick and it's gone straight through Lewis Price and that was it between the two teams.

"Disappointing result for us. I stuck three strikers on the pitch at the end and pushed the two full-backs on. I wanted as many players who could score on the pitch, but we've got to try an get result on Tuesday.

"The players have gone a long time before I came here without winning and it's taken its toll. The players are nervous and not confident, we just need to get a win."

He has to get at least one excuse in each week.

Next up for Deans's Dynamo's is a visit to Chesterfield on Tuesday. Will he get his first win for Crawley there?

Good. Disaster of a manager and the sooner Crawley bin him the better for them.

3 clubs, 3 successive relegations. This time around he gets to keep the match ball.

In fairness to Dean it was closer than the score line suggested and it could have gone the other way

Looks like the people of Sussex are already captivated by his football.

Reds had at least not capitulated after going 3-0 down so early in the second half although that was small comfort for Saunders and the 51 travelling fans on the long trek back down the M1.

Crawley's forwards need to discover the "Eye of the Tiger". They've had no win in 15 games and are sinking without trace.

Ah, but Crawley hit the bar at 0-0. "If that had gone in - and nine times out of ten it would have - then we're one up and suddenly we're playing with confidence and we could easily have gone on and scored five or six."

"I thought looking at both teams we've got some players who have played two games in three days"

......both teams played on Saturday with the same starting line ups.

Crawley sign Lee Fowler from Conference strugglers Nuneaton. But worry not, as Deano thinks he will be fine in league one.

"They're a better team than us, they've been together for two-and-a-half years and it showed tonight and they've got some good players. I have to take the positives out of the performance and try and work on some of the best football we've played.

Good to know he has standards! Also only just realised we loaned a goalkeeper to Crawley - what's the betting he comes back with a broken hand?
