Climate Change Debate

You don't have to try hard to find the report or electronics engineers with multi-Gigahertz signal propagation experience, not least myself. http://www.ispreview.co.uk/story/2011/05/10/defra-warns-of-threat-to-uk-wifi-and-fibre-optic-networks-by-climate-change.html

It is cobblers.
Oh by the way, I don't have any cronies, if you want to debate, put forward your evidence and please leave out personal preconceptions.

You do realise that your link doesn't lead to the DEFRA report, even indirectly. In fact I doubt you've read it, as I have only seen it via a source I'm pretty sure you don't have.

I was thinking about contributing to this thread then I realised that I dont understand a single post that HAzelGroveWolf has ever made so I dont think I'll bother!

Like the signature mate.
I will continue to question issues that seem embedded in some kind of recent decadal educational concensus. I mearly point out that there is a huge global debate in climate science and the enveloping politics, the input is far and wide. Those that criticise me should offer some substance, I have a limited ability to write my detailed thoughts due to time constraints and the fact that some have already made the points elsewhere which I will leverage.
For this reason I'm using leeds patent 'post a link from time to time without comment' with the hope that people might read and maybe offer a critique.

I'm happy to help with clarification, I promise that you will then look like that bloke in the painting called 'The Scream'.

This thread makes my head hurt. I follow it in the hope that one day I will read something that I will understand . And I don't mean that in a nasty way, just that I'm thick. But, I have learned lots of new words, which I always have to google !

HazelGroveWolf, are you a teacher of some kind ?

Yeah that's also what I meant by my post about not understanding any of HAzelGrovewolf's posts - I wasnt trying to take the piss out of him.

I understand all the words inidivdually but collectively his posts just dont formulate in my brain. I think it must be a case of too many big words used in such a short space! I'm University educated too (not that it means much these days!)

At least I'm a drop out so I have an excuse :) !

I suspect that's his intent. 90% of what he says is wrong, but he relies on his audience not realizing. Sadly the explanation of why he is wrong is just as impenetrable to the lay person.

Vis I think that's unfair. I don't know why you get so personal with HG but I find it detracts from your argument somewhat. I still have no formed opinion on this and to be truthful only understand bits of it. I also have a family in energy supply (AD) and he says nobody can agree at all and nobody knows for certain what the best policy is.

I enjoy the thread though even as PBB and Rock'n'roll said I don't understand it wholly.

It's wrong to say that no-one agrees.

There are dissenting voices, sure, but the overwhelming majority concur with the idea that mankind's actions are affecting the climate.
