Bully and Thommo on the Athletic podcast. Listen to what they say about this game coming up. It is not going to be easy in any way. Shit pitch so no pretty football, just a battle for 90 mins. They better have their shit together or this thread is going to get toxic come game day.

Indeed! Honestly, i don't even think the players have any idea what they are coming up against. For sure none of those young players will have even set foot on a pitch like Chorleys, never mind played a team like them. That pitch will be a quagmire. And their legs will be fucked after 70 mins.
This is a game where you actually forget normal football, and have a roll your sleeves up and battle attitude. If they don't there'll be some bad shit going down after that match.
 
Not sure what state the pitch is in but after the rain we've had especially in the NW, wonder if this is in danger of being postponed.

Chorley have got covers on the pitch and even gone for the fancy raised heated ones (did the same for the Derby game as the groundsman slept under the covers the night before the game!)

So a fair amount of rain and snow but not much on the pitch
 
I think I'd channel my inner Kenny Jackett and make sure we have a team with POWER.
I'd want to see all the following in the starting 11.
Boly, Saiss, Kilman, Traore, Otasowie, Cutrone and Donck. Something like:
---------------------Ruddy---------
------Boly ---Coady---Kilman------
---Semedo---Donck----Otasowie---Saiss
-------------Traore-----Cutrone----Neto
As Dave Jones would say match them in the battle and then earn the right to play

Was just about to ask is Otasowie fit then saw Wolves have posted a clip of him in training, so yes he is.

Many people will not agree but I honestly think the weather and the pitch conditions could make the match alot closer than expected. Thank you to Wolves fans who bought 1£ golden goal and 50/50 raffle tickets , the Chorley FC Supporters Trust (CFCST) set these up independenlty and rely hugely on raffle sales.

Lets just win, this lot ,as im sure many will remember, pushed us to our all time low, and as fans we all endured ridicule from every football fan going. Payback time.
