I think I'd channel my inner Kenny Jackett and make sure we have a team with POWER.
I'd want to see all the following in the starting 11.
Boly, Saiss, Kilman, Traore, Otasowie, Cutrone and Donck. Something like:
---------------------Ruddy---------
------Boly ---Coady---Kilman------
---Semedo---Donck----Otasowie---Saiss
-------------Traore-----Cutrone----Neto
As Dave Jones would say match them in the battle and then earn the right to play
Eww.

Lets just win, this lot ,as im sure many will remember, pushed us to our all time low, and as fans we all endured ridicule from every football fan going. Payback time.

Sounds a bit like what we were saying before the Albion game!

They beat us when we were in free fall, we were absolutely rubbish. We are not now and we SHOULD have no problem beating them but, the FA Cup.
we are a different animal now and, having lived through the drop through the divisions, I kind of get where you are coming from but Wolves results in 1986 should have no bearing on what we do tomorrow

The difference in physical conditioning and technical ability should be stark. As long as we pick players we’d be happy to use in the PL it shouldn’t even be a contest.

If we’re playing how we should be playing then they shouldn’t even get out their own half so set pieces shouldn’t be an issue.

A team of 16-18 year olds who had never played a senior game ever and probably won’t make a career above L1 managed to give them a game. If they were all 3 years older with no improvement in technical ability or experience they’d have won.

We should be giving players like Hoever, Otasowie and Vitinha a game at some stage, esp. as we are allowed 5 subs in normal time.
Perhaps bring Jonny on for a run out too.

He has only returned to the training for the warm ups. No ball work or being involved in mini games yet. He is still some way off coming back

Nuno (via Timmy II): "We approach the game exactly the same. We don't have to go (back to 1986), recent football tells you (surprises) can happen. We'll have the strongest squad that we can."

Strong as possible please. I would love yet another semi Final or even a Final which is not beyond the realms of Possibility.

uh oh. Lawrenson has tipped us to beat Chorley.... You know what that means.....

Some doddering old incompetent has written some nonsense?

Shouldn’t the Beeb be replacing Crooks and Lawrenson with someone more contemporary?

Even a broken clock etc etc
There is no need to panic about this game (except for injuries)
Wolves will win by three clear goals

I think removing them because they're useless would be more apt. why we have to celebrate being inept is beyond me, see also Merson.Paul

Absolutely, Crooks has been terrible from day one of his gig
