Championship 15/16

Sadly, I fear that booing is inevitable.

I can't make the game but if I was there, there's no way I would be booing a player who did a hell of a lot of positive things for Wolves, albeit his time with us didn't end too well. I'd much rather remember the good times as opposed to the bad. It'll be very sad indeed if he is booed but that's football fans for you.

Fixed it for you Langers ;)

Quite a few will no doubt boo him following his views on twitter during the election build up.

Possibly the worst captain weve had in my time supporting Wolves. I cant predict what Ill do until im in the stadium but he deserves every boo he gets IMO. I wont ever be able to forgive him for the role he played in our two relegations.

And what about the positive contributions he made before it all went tits up?

Its a shame he sullied a good 4 years at the club with the actions and performances of the last 3. As I said I cant predict what Ill do until Im thete but I certainly wont be arguing with people in the stands if someone next to me decides to boo him.

Each to their own but I think it's an appalling way to treat a player who also gave me some of the happiest times I can remember as a Wolves fan. Why only 'commemorate' the bad times? I could accept no reception at all but to boo him would be disgraceful.

Sort of pleased I'm not going TBH. I could see it really pissing me off.

I tend to agree, i shall neither boo him or applaud him, his association with Wolves is long over.

He deserves to be applauded for his service not booed. It not as if he was solely responsible for our relegations is it?

He was also part of the best midfield I've seen down at Wolves with Jones, Jarvis and Kightly.

I wouldn't boo Henry in the same way I wouldn't boo Kightly. Despite how things ended, both of them were instrumental in giving me some of my best years as a Wolves supporter. Kightly in particular.

Have never really acknowledged the opposition players whether positively or negatively (apart from applauding of an injured player & hoping he is OK - don't want anyone seriously hurt whoever he plays for)

Wouldn't change that just because its Karl Henry. He did good things & crap things whilst he was here, but is gone now.

Indeed. I was really unhappy at the way Kightly left but I'd never boo him. The way some people totally disregard the positives in favour of the negatives puzzles me.

I always think him and Jarvis made pretty equal contributions to where we were at that time - Jarvis obviously a bigger success story as he maintained fitness - so therefore they deserve equal receptions. Although you can guarantee Kightly's would be mixed and Jarvis would receive standing ovations.

It just feels a million miles away from when Karl Henry played for Wolves, I know it was only 2013 but so much has happened since then I don't really have the time or inclination to boo him, at one time we were good for one another but that ship had sailed long before he even left, much less now.
