Cardiff 0 - 1 Wolves: The Verdict

The more I watch the video of Nuno chasing Warnock (and I have watched it many many times), the more I love the very end, when Nuno makes one last effort, and then just goes OK, right you are, and goes back to his players.

Do you think he’s still $#@!ed off?

lol, I imagine he might be and maybe a bit regretful of his comments.
heat of the moment stuff, I’m sure he’ll get over it :)

I’ll bet you feel better than Colin does this morning.
Colin's preferred tipple

I'm still not sure if Warnock had something like this planned if they lost anyway. The focus is entirely on him and not on the football.

I wonder if he's done this on purpose to take the focus and analysis off his players

I'd still be putting an offer in for Zohore, wasted playing for this shyster but would fit in our team well.

Regarding Nuno's celebration, didn't a certain Bob Stokoe run onto the pitch at the final whistle of a FA Cup Final to celebrate with his goalkeeper Jim Montgomery ! All he received was praise for showing his emotion !!

Lack of class from nuno, yea right,if Cardiff had scored both those penalties,I'm sure Warnock would have been " I say, that's awfully hard luck there for your team, terribly sorry about that old boy"

Also from the guardian

*forgot to shake hands * = continental barbarism at its worst

*telling a man to fuck off after he tries to apologise for not shaking your hand, and later saying you will not accept his apology no matter what* = Good old British gentlemanly etiquette

Just saw the interview again, the thing that grinds most is Colin saying “I’m disappointed in him” - when Warnock decides what is and isn’t acceptable, we are all well and truly screwed.

Wouldn't surprise me. It's going to take a hell of an effort for them to get themselves right for Villa on Tuesday, this will take some of the heat off them.

Just watched the highlights and I was somehow convinced, again, Gunnarsson's shot was going in the top corner. Oof.

Hopefully Villa can smash the fuck out of them. And Fulham can get second.

Just rewatched the highlights this morning, celebrated the Neves free kick and Ruddy's save as if I was watching for the first time!

I thought Mike Dean had a superb game, pretty much got all of the decisions correct, including both penalties. I thought it was incredibly poor from Coady to give away the first one, and Cav was unlucky as he slipped as he closed down the man.

Both teams had excellent chances to win the game, pens aside, Cardiff had a few decent chances from Bamba, Wildschut and Gunnarrson (sp?). However we equally had good chances with Costa, Leo and Jota.

Mike Dean did well although weirdly it wasn't anywhere near as physical as I expected it to be. Classic Dean at the end when he awarded the penalty.

Neil Warnock. Manager of the season. Typical English grit. Gets it forward. Stick it in the mixer. Big man up top. Players run all day... And then the pundits sit around wondering why we've gone out of the World Cup at the group stage...

I think my wife thought I'd gone completely mad last night! I think (hope) Cardiff could really suffer after this, mentally its a massive blow and could see them go on a bad run.

Warnock on Talksport trying to be nice and salvage something. It is a passionate game on both sides lets not forget, but he has let himself down (again)

It’s not even that - he goes straight to Cardiff’s captain instead and clearly praises him and his teammates for their performance. Such a bastard!
