Can't comment on the United performance specifically, but this side lacks goals - less than one a game, so if fit not playing one of the 2 players who look like they have a goal in them in open play seems counter intuitive to me.

Beat me to it. Podence was rubbish against Utd. But I think the team in general was just being poor in possession and being a little deeper leaving him and Silva isolated. Traore was being equally rubbish as well so we just kept losing the ball.

But those issues shouldn’t be the case today. So to not play a player who has been directly involved in 33% of our goals is bonkers. Raul was utter garbage some weeks and we wouldn’t say don’t play him!

Surely it's time to give Corbeanu some game time? As a sub for Silva it would help us keep shape, and the promotion doesn't seem to have phased his mate Otasowie.

I've been saying the same. He's far superior in the air and on a par on the ground. At least give him a go and see how he gets on.
