Unacceptable performance and result. My sympathies for anyone who travelled down for that! Our away form in terms of actual results isn't that bad since Lopetegui came in, pretty typical for a bottom-half side, but consistently the performances are not good. This sort of result simply can't happen again, but it is about how we pick ourselves up from this now. Villa is going to be a very difficult game considering the form they are in.

Brighton were also excellent, only last month they did the same to West Ham albeit with 2 fewer goals. Last league game before Covid Brighton came to Molineux and parked the bus for a 0-0 draw (and did the same the year before) - the change in fortunes for us both is pretty stark.

Been a potter fan since he was at Swansea. Wouldn't say he's a better manager than Lopetegui but he certainly plays better football and has a clear style of play.

Yeah that's a bit of a drawback, although his sides tend to create plenty.

Just watched the highlights. Lopetegui's a fucking idiot with his tinkering and dropping Cunha. Sa and Nunes can both fuck off for all I care. The complete lack of care and attitude of those two players in particular, is totally unacceptable. Drop 'em both for the Villa game. in fact, I don't want to see either play for our club ever again. I can’t stop laughing at the 4th and 6th goals. Sa is an absolute disgrace & we deserve to be laughed at for that ‘performance’.

Villa could be quite ugly, given they still have something to play for. Thank God we’re this close to the end of the season, though. Because that kind of scoreline and lesson handed out could have killed our season if it happened a few weeks earlier.
