For the first time in years we have a squad where players will miss out. Not long ago Podence was out and Costa. Just how it is now

It is odd though, because against Forest we had Jonny banned and Bueno unfit to start, and he still wasn't in the squad.

It's not your classic "Hennessey has had a bost up" stuff, something actually has gone on. He hasn't been sighted since Newcastle away.

I'd be disappointed if Lopetegui is blaming him wholesale for the winner in that game as Kilman and Collins were far more at fault.

Every year when a player doesn't make the team someone makes up the Ramadan excuse. It's not now, wasn't at any time in the past and I doubt very much ever will be in the future either
