The fact that Bellew hasn't put him away shows the gulf in class here.

after all the bullshit and the hype Haye showed great respect and dignity in defeat. Bellew had a plan and it worked. Hayes ankle going finished it.

Haye fighting on one leg, so hardly the greatest upset ever as Sky are trying to call it.

A shame for it all to end for Haye that way (think that is it for him now). Bellew was hanging in until the injury but I had him losing every round bar the first, then you're facing a bloke who can barely walk.

Bellew has shown himself to be absolutely not a heavyweight. Joshua or anyone at a similar level would destroy him.

in the 8th you had Haye with one hand on the ropes looking physically battered and staggering around like a drunk.
I think Bellew could have picked him off then if he wanted.

Joshua would flatten either. Hayes injury changed the fight but Bellew had kept out of the way until the injury. I had Haye up by 1 going into the 6 th round and he didn't win another. I fancied an upset if it went past 5 but the injury sealed it.

I thought Haye had it in the bag until the injury. Up till then Bellew has hardly landed a punch and looked the more tired of the two.

The injury didn't seal it, it defined it. Like Tredman says, Bellew barely threw a punch in rounds 2-5. He was operating under the blind hope that Haye would gas - well, he did in a way I suppose.

Now I would love to see a rematch at cruiser weight. Haye is finished as a top heavy. Won't make the weight though now methinks

Crolla getting a boxing lesson from linares so far.

Linares just too classy. Crolla doing well but just not quite good enough unfortunately.
