Boxing thread

Haye looked way more terrifying in that one fight than Fury has in any of his - I've never actually seen Fury really land powerful punches. He fights behind his jab and is successful at it, but I'd much rather watch Fury and Joshua.

Fury could keep Haye at bay behind his jab. Haye has power but lacks real nouse to land. Tyson was only 6 ft but always boxed on the front foot. Haye tries to do the same but his natural weight is 13 stone Tyson was 15 st naturally and with a low centre of gravity made his uppercut lethal.

I think you are doing Haye a disservice there, he's shown himself to be quite a clever boxer at times.

Haye easily outboxed Valuev, I don't think Fury is much better boxer than Valuev, perhaps slightly faster hands, but that's all.

OK. Its just how I see it Haye vs Fury would be fine if Haye could tag him Haye could not tag Klitcshco and Fury beat Klitcshco. I think Fury would wear him down too. Shame. Joshua would beat both imo

It's too early for Joshua I think, he could be a really good boxer, but put him in with Fury or Haye now and he'll get beat. He didn't look that convincing in his last fight, if Haye was allowed to land similar blows then Joshua would be knocked out.

We must agree to disagree. Joshua will beat them both I time and stay champion for a decade. He oozes class and power

Haye is six three. Any the best boxer out of them all right now.

He's bigger than before and now looks like a heavyweight, not a blown up cruiser.

I think given two-three fights he could get a world belt, but he needs a test. That chin needs shaking with extra weight on him.

Joshua is a great talent but A year away and I feel Fury shows how weak a division it now is.

Fury making a bit of a fool of himself in the ring with Wilder last night.

He's such a dick.

Hope he finally gets in the ring with a fighter who'll throw a few decent punches at him, might finally see him in a proper fight.

Says it all when the caption under the photo states he's been 'training' with Ricky Hatton, was it after a late night training session that he made the announcement?

He's a troubled person is Frank, and I can't see him being given a licence, although I'd still rate him above Fury.

No chance he will get given a licence with his mental history. Absolutely no chance whatsoever.

If Ike Ibeabuchi can get a boxing licence then Bruno will. He doesn't even have to go through the BBBoC.

Bruno was sectioned for crying out loud. If he gets a licence it would be a complete horror story.

Ike kidnapped a minor and crashed a car with him in the boot. Was also sectioned.

Good fight that. Canelo should beat khan given the weight difference on fight night.

I'm surprised height wise they appear similar. Completely agree, as Canelo will come in weighing 170 odd
