Bournemouth (H) - 15th December (3pm)

En route. Popping to KFC first as we’re both starving.

Wilson has had a fitness check, now waiting to see his reaction before late team selection.

Loving life on delayed trains, should be in Wolves now but we're about 50mins away still. Fs.

Harsh on Vinny that thought he was doing well and improving each game. I also think he's considerable better than Otto going forwards but hey ho.

Vinagre and Saiss out - both a touch unlucky in my view. Trust that Jonny coming back doesn't impact Jota form as he was defo striking up an understanding with Vinagre

Given the weather down here today (which I suspect is mirrored in Wolverhampton) really happy that of the 3 Dec home games that this was the one I decided to miss

Cruel on Vinagre - not sure it's the right decision as Jonny has is only just back (and a couple of weeks earlier than expected). The front 3 are at least the ones I wanted to see though.

Wilson not starting for Bournemouth though on the bench

Harsh on Ruben, but thinking about it more, Fraser is a big threat and Jonny's defensive capabilities may suit us better.

It's nice to be have such decisions to make though!

Let's hope the weather doesn't adversely affect us. I know the whole winter thing was dispelled last season but wind rain and bitter cold isn't really conducive to good football.

Assuming Jonny is fully fit then this was always going to be a tough decision. Harsh for Vinagre but personally feel like having Jonny back is the best option for this game. Saiss can count himself unfortunate but this is a good chance to see if Neves-Moutinho works with MGW as the false nine. If it doesn't work out then we will probably see Saiss back next game anyway.

I guess Nuno wants to see if that midfield and forwards combo works before we head into the Liverpool game.

sloppy start by both teams but we managed to capitalise on Bournemouths error and it was a great pass from Jota to square it for Raul.

Merson on Soccer Saturday has said it was a scuffed shot

Merson saying it was a scuffed shot by Jota, rather than a pass, not that it really mattress!

It was a shot which he sort of scuffed a bit which sent it wide straight to Jimenez

First goal in the opening 45 since the opening day and our first this season that has been in open play! About time. Jota looks a different player this month.

yeah he did a great job getting in position for that cross. wasn't a great shot if that's what he was intending (I don't think it was, from memory), but I'll take it all the same. super sloppy from boournemouth on that, especially after they'd been controlling the game before then.

lots of wayward passes from both sides. looks really windy
