Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

What Giles wrote was satire. The people complaining somehow failed to spot that and took it at face value, which says more about them than whether Giles Coren is an arsehole.

Fuck off Gove. Just a lie.

In 2012, Theresa May, who was the Conservative Home Secretary at the time, introduced the Hostile Environment Policy saying that: "The aim is to create, here in Britain, a really hostile environment for illegal immigrants".

How are they still "But Labouring" after 12 fucking years?

And stop with this "get on with the job" nonsense, as if you're above scrutiny. Another shite slogan.

Let’s now try a thought experiment.

Let’s imagine that Corbyn had somehow won the last election. That he had then filled up Labour Party coffers with Russian money; that his party chairman had an office in Moscow to advise oligarchs; that Corbyn personally had repeatedly visited a Russian oligarch whose father had been a KGB agent and close friend of Putin, and that he had been reported to have ignored security service objections to secure this friend a peerage, and funnelled government money towards his paper.

For day after day there would have been front-page denunciations of Corbyn. He couldn’t have survived. In my view rightly so. Yet Johnson is the one who’s done all of these things. But Corbyn is the one who’s supposed to be pro-Putin.

This is deranged.

Still using "clearing up the mess Labour left" line I see

At what point does this line become redundant...15 years...20 years?

25 years is fair game today. The Labour Manifesto from 1997 is blamed for our reliance on gas.

I mean it's a mere five years since some Government, can't think who, decided to close our biggest gas storage facility and not replace it. But I guess that's irrelevant.

And what about their other properties? Presuming he wasn't homeless until he became PM

They bought a townhouse not long ago. Not that it's "his" but Chequers is empty most of the time, it could easily be handed over temporarily, he doesn't *need* to go there (but he does, all the bloody time). Loads of other grace and favour places that are essentially the PM's for as long as they have the job.

However he's such a shameless twat that when he resigned as Foreign Secretary he basically refused to leave the apartment you get as part of the job and effectively squatted there for a couple of months. For someone who's never even had to think about the consequences of spending money there are legions of stories about him being ridiculously tight or the kind of person who tries to duck out of paying their fair share.

He may have been after his previous wife kicked him out for cheating on her on multiple occasions whilst she was battling cancer.

Chequers will be empty.

  • Johnson today....
I think what the world is seeing is the return in Ukraine to the kind of brutality, the kind of absolutely indiscriminate bombing of civilian centres, of great cities that we last saw in the European continent 80 years ago, this is quite unbelievable what is happening now in our continent.
We need to make sure that we build the strongest, widest possible coalition to ensure that Vladimir Putin does not succeed, that we wean ourselves off Russian hydrocarbons and that is what the Uk is helping to do.

So he's off to Saudi Arabia to discuss building a coalition with a regime that murders journalists and executed 81 people at the weekend. Well he'll need to replace the gap in funding for the Conservatives now that the Russians won't be able to do so.

He has such a lack of self awareness, i kind of get his desire (in his mind) to chummy up (further) with the Saudis, but how can he not see the hypocrisy and the double standards with their human rights record and the similarity between what Putin is doing and what they have been doing for years in Yemen!?

They buy our weapons and fighter jets, Gotta make the hole left by Russian money somewhere, all that fuel we need to keep transport going doesn't just magically appear either
