Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

He hasn't got any policies except self preservation. He's got bluster and talks absolute shite with that oh so lovable babbling moron act he's perfected.

A lot of people will see his Brexit stance and base their vote around that.

It's why I don't like or trust the general public.

Tax cuts for the uber Rich and Brexit means Brexit means Brexit.

Already been back tracking from the opening claim in his speach the other day. Promised the 3 Million EU members living here they will get full protection, do not fear you won't be sent home etc.....turns out no policy change and its still the same as what May wanted (basically piss off you foreign types back to where you come from)

Yep Brexit will be a big vote winner for many.
20,000 extra frontline police.
Increased stop and search powers.
3 policies which will appeal to many people and may get him elected in a GE.
The media of course will call it populist policies.
I thought that was what it was all about?
It's a numbers game called democracy.

I agree he's been painted as a bumbling idiot and has played up to it.
However, people will vote for him because they like his policies, he's in touch with what a lot of people want.

That's the thing: if you delve deeper he hasn't got any policies, but when he's on the telly he can win people over. He wants to spend a lot of money on this, and that, it is all to appease the public. It falls apart in Parliament around his peers as they know the money does not exist, but put him in front of a camera and Boris says the right things.

Surely that is what all 'good' politicians do? They have an intuitive way of plugging in to what people want and more importantly 'feel'.
From Thatcher to Blair.
Obama to Trump.

surely that is what all 'good' conmen do? they have an intuitive way of plugging in to what people want and feel..
from Charles Ponzi to, err, Donald Trump

Precisely. Then when people have had enough of them, they vote them out and replace them with another con person.
It's the ones that can't be voted out that are usually the problem.

I have just sat at a table with friends from Greece, Serbia, France and Germany, and they simply cannot believe that Boris is our prime minister, they think it is a huge joke. I said i was told a comedian had become prime minister of Britain.... So where the fuck is Billy Connoly???????

JRM's drive to take us back to the 19th century continues unabated.
This is the official set of rules for his new staff in the Commons

Oy, I'm very much a fan of the double space. Nob. See it looks much better.

Edit - hmm, seems Tapatalk is not a double space supporter.

Was he a lawyer at any point? Only place I have really come across the double space rule has been at magic circle law firms and then the in house legal departments of companies hiring those guys.

Plus if you are writing a list then the no comma after and can cause some ambiguity.

Obviously fuckface is happy to nick Times New Roman without asking. Font-thieving pencil-necked bastard.

Double spacing after full stops is barbaric. Also it is full stop, not fullstop.

‘CHECK your work’ should all be capitalised as well if he’s intending to emphasise the point. If not then none of it should.

If he wants to use imperial measurements, that's fine but would he prefer UK or US gallons as they want to suck the Trump nethers?

Literally no one in the UK under 45 understands imperial measurements. It's a pointless losing argument. Much like JRG.

As I'm 46 and do that's a worse burn than Del's to James

I understand weight and distance and liquid measurements in imperial absolutely fine as a 47-year-old

But, as regards the metric measures, the only ones I struggle with are distance. I know 2.54 cm and bits is an inch. I struggle a bit with what feels like a kilometre but no probs with a mile. And a KNOW a pint. OH BOY I know what a pint is.

To be honest though. These are relatively simple conversions. And JRFuckface is only insisting on imperial to try and do up yours Delors over the most tiny miniscule point he can. It's actually rather pathetic.
