I'm of the view now that Johnson getting the job is a good thing. It brings things to a head there are 4 options as I see it:
a) leave with a repackaged May deal with the border moved into the second part of the negotiation. He can't renegotiate and gets booted out
b) Calls GE and gets a No Deal mandate - I think he beats Corbyn. We No Deal, the economy collapses he gets booted out
c) He can't get a deal and bottles leaving, he gets booted out and we go to a 2nd ref.
d) We leave with or without a deal. Unicorns do exist, bluebirds fly over the white cliffs of Dover and he's PM for the next decade or so.
