Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

Levelling up..

I’m really struggling not to despise the people who voted for these idiots. It’s not helpful but I really struggle with the fact that 35% of the electorate would still vote for them.
Policy abandoned already.

Open mouth, think later. I honestly believed that the Conservative Party would vote for competence after the last shower.

Yeah, but who is "competence" out of the available candidates. The fact that Hunt gets presented in that way (but won't ever win because he's not a Brexit fanatic) when he was a shocking Health Secretary is telling.

On to Rees-Mogg.

He's admitted that he was wrong when he said that Brexit would not cause delays in Dover. Its the fault of the French however as they insist on doing what we do and check people when entering their state.

Also on Rees Mogg he rubbished Sunak's plans to cut taxes in a few years time as "suggesting there will be income tax cuts many, many years into the future is the finest fantasy". Forgive me if I'm wrong but wasn't he one of the advocates who stated that Brexit gains may not be felt for decades to come?

This the same Rees Mogg who insisted that there would need to be a GE if Boris were ever toppled? That one?

Only after he'd claimed that food and shoes would be cheaper (amongst much other bullshit).

Not a single member of the board of BP when that happened works for the company now.
Oh right, good. That fixes everything then.
Different names in the board room won't be changing the structure or ideology of BP. That will remain, as will the culture of taking aggressive ecological risks, and grotesque profiteering .

Apparently she wants 2 internets; one for kids and one for adults.
Go on then Elizabeth, please begin to even try and explain how the fuck that's going to work then....
She`ll put Nadine in charge.

U turned on the public sector pay thing now which I suppose is a good thing. Fuck me though, thick as fucking mince.

Just seen her on the news on a farm looking at cows, there's a meeting of minds that's for sure.

Did enjoy John Oliver introducing America to her pork markets moment.

We shall once again be a respected nation

In your opinion. Conflating Deepwater Horizon with Profiteering is complete and utter bollocks though.

It has no relation to the current situation at all which is absolute cuntery toward the customer. Bring it up is just pointless. It adds zero.
Tend to agree. It's like saying the way Wolves run at the moment shows no care at all to the most loyal "customers" (true) and then adding "I mean look at them in the 1980s under the Bhatti Brothers, they've been at it for years".

I'd disagree. BP & others have explicitly lobbied for and pushed through the means to continuously extract resources in much riskier ways whilst also underselling the risks and having inadequate contingency plans.
The gulf, and other examples as well as their anti climate change literature/research (cough) highlights a long-term plan and intention.
Changing the boardroom does nothing.
I mean, we're not expecting a significant or positive change in govt direction with boris being replaced are we?

Which has fuck all to do with inflating the wholesale oil price and then refusing to pass savings on when it falls. Absolutely fuck all.

There's your problem right there.

Inadequate governance.
