I particularly like Rishi making a big deal of promising to ‘rebuild the economy’. Er, you were in charge of the economy, mate.
 
Zahawi says he'll cut 20% from every Government department to pay for tax cuts. Leaving aside how stupid and unworkable that would be, good luck on explaining how that works with health, defence, welfare etc.

Also like his response to the HMRC investigating his tax affairs, he has stated he would make his future tax returns public if PM to show this is all just a big stitch up.
Asked if he would also show the returns that are being investigated he of course said not a chance that is happening
 
So if you start from a position of poltically we arent ever going to be aligned who is the least worst candidate? Tugendhat? Badenoch who I'd not heard of until last week seems another particular nasty piece of work

To be fair the opposition would have done the same ( in respect of covid ) but gone harder and faster. At least Rishi went with a bit of foreplay - ie the burger discounts and such like. The money printing and borrowing would have been common to all. As for net-zero, well it's an inevitable fuck up however they deal with it. Think they all want to send weapons to Ukraine so no difference there too.

Having said that Johnson was definitely a cunt among cunts and maybe the time is to have some genuine humour in the brave new-world. The Yanks have got Biden (and Pelosi) who does a wonderful Ernie to his Eric. Biden's teleprinter ( or whatever those things are ) skits are superb and the slapstick way he tackles stairs and clapping is very good.

Sadly, none of them can make me laugh - perhaps Fabricant will have a go? Maybe Starmer can defect to the Tories and get the gig. Starmer's ' had my photo took on the corkscrew' look would serve him well in the future and I quite like the blue blazer. His sketch with the publican in Bath was excellent. It's a global fuck up and it was nice to see the Sri Lankans getting some quality time in the fleeing tyrants swimming pool. The tractors of the Netherlands and truckers of Canada may be just the beginning.

He knows a significant part of the Tory membership are blinded by ideology. They’re the kind of people that think tax cuts are great yet can’t see the connection with growing NHS waiting lists, shit cancer stats, inability to get GP appointment, ambulance attendance times, potholes in roads, shit train services etc etc et-fucking-cetera!

There's not one redeemable one in the bunch as far as I can see. They either veer from trying to get rid of my job by massive public service spending cuts or favour policies that'll persecute a large bunch of my friends.

Bunch of wankers the lot of them.
