The speaker was appalling on this. Instead of telling the ones doing the barracking to shut up he had a go at Lucas for not getting her question in quickly enough. He was having a go at Blackford for Alex Salmond being on Russia Today when Salmond is no longer in the SNP. The nodding dogs beside him don't see the irony in attacking Russian links to the former party member and leader of the SNP whereas their own parties coffers are £2m to the good from taking funds from those with huge links to Putin despite them somehow becoming UK citizens. Where did their leader celebrate their last election victory?

Also, knowing the likelihood that they would be questioned on the RT issue, nodding dog Dorries conveniently leaked a letter she had sent to Ofcom to the political editor of The Times as PMQ's started. Not only is this entirely pointless, not only will it be more wasted public money on nothing, not only are imperial measures unwieldy and illogical, but Brexit or no Brexit, there was and remains no obstacle to anyone wanting to sell sausages by the pound, flour by the ounce, alcohol by the gallon, etc etc.

Three countries use imperial measures. The USA (who don't actually use the same imperial measures as we do/used to), Myanmar and The Bahamas.

Schools are going to love this aren't they? Our children are taught in metric because everything is in base ten and inter-related (a litre of water weighs 1 kilogramme etc etc). Going back to the base 8 base 12 base 16 mess that is imperial seems highly illogical.

I think of my weight and height in imperial but I am fifty in a few months. Its going back in time.

Pedant alert - The minister for Brexit opportunities isn't an actual job. He's employed by this shit show to feed crap into the right wing press to keep the wrinklies happy.
