Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

Saw on the news last night that Javid was on Hi-Vis/hard hat duties yesterday

This will help keep costs down for Labour too, which i fear is a large proportion of the reason given how many members they have lost.

Train probably costs more, tbf

Doubt it. £164 return from St Pancras to Brussels, leaving next Monday morning and returning on Tuesday morning. Also puts you right in the centre of both cities so little/no added transport costs from airports.

This before you consider that we had a summit on climate change what, four months ago?

Government press conference later this evening. Is it the first one he's done this year, or certainly since he's been hiding away from any sort of difficult questioning since January's partygate revelations?

It'll be regarding the end of isolation for Covid surely?

That Truss tweet is also merely an excuse to get the publicly funded portrait photographer out to snap another pic of her.
We don't have the finances to feed hungry school kids, or increase UC by £20 a week, but we can fund her a personal photographer.

Yeah its the end of the laws around Covid and move everything to personal responsibility, such as test positive or have symptons you should stay at home but don't have to do so.

Seems it was going to be done earlier but kicking off to do with how much money will be given for testing going forward. Going to see the end of free testing at some point.

Naturally, its delivering good news!

From the Guardian Live Page

Boris Johnson left the Commons as soon as his statement was over, and he did not wait to hear Chris Bryant (Lab) use a point of order to say that Johnson was wrong when he told MPs earlier that Roman Abramovich was one of the Russian oligarchs already subject to UK sanctions. Sir Lindsay Hoyle, the Commons Speaker, said that if Johnson was wrong, he would expect the record to be corrected.

I'm used to hearing his half truths and lies but what struck me most about the above was that when watching it live, Johnson was still in his seat when the point of order was granted. He stood up when Chris Bryant began to speak and Bryant politely appealed to him to stop and listen as the point of order was about what Johnson had said. The scruffy bar steward ignored him and just walked out of the Chamber. Not only is he a scruffy, lying, rude twat but he rides roughshod over our democracy and he's an utter embarrassment to the office that he holds.

Nothing surprises me with him but I hate how that's even allowed. Imagine in any of our work meetings if you could stand up, talk a load of bollocks and then just walk out when you're pulled up on what nonsense you'd spouted.

Once you've entered a session you shouldn't be allowed to leave (barring toilet breaks) until it's finished.

Spokesman for the fat cunt says he “mis spoke”. He fucking lied. As always. Worst Prime Minister in history.

How is it "mis-spoke"?

Abramovich was mentioned by Margaret Hodge, he explicitly said he was already subject to sanctions. It's just a lie, isn't it, it's not like inadvertently getting a figure slightly wrong. It's yes or no and he picked the wrong one on purpose. Again.
