Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

I never overestimate them.

Not sure the BBC should be interviewing somebody with obvious learning difficulties.

Sort of agree... but presumably he can vote and is entitled to put his opinion across when asked.

Your neck of the woods, that...

Is this for the BBC's Stoke-on-Trent mini series where some of the edges of society are interviewed to make the place look like 1930's Birmingham a la Peaky Blinders?

I don't know how you people live, you'll have to tell me.

Boris doesn’t think the ruling was ‘the right decision ‘ but parliament will come back.

Oh - and we are leaving on 31 October apparently. Yeah right...

We tend to live off the land, hunt for meat with spears, drink the blood of our children, live in pits in the ground and still believe in shamans.

Welcome to Stoke

Laws, like taxes, are for the little people.

As it stands the law says we leave on 31 October, says Boris. Rather conveniently forgetting he has to extend that deadline or be in contempt of parliament. He is ACTUALLY going to try and bluster his way through this. Staggering.

His response that now he has a parliament unable to be prorogued and unwilling to call an election and that this frustrates Brexit is basically an admission that he misled the Queen. Sturgeon has immediately picked up on that, as has Lucas.

The calls to resign are getting louder, but Boris has excellent earmuffs

The Government is tomorrow expected to table a motion paving the way for a short conference recess

Cabinet ministers are working on the assumption that it will pass and Tory conference will still go ahead

Another defeat for Boris?

No chance on earth that will pass with Labour cutting their conference short.

It's got a 3 line whip, so ironically he needs those he's kicked out to support it.

I think they're working on the premise that defeats for BJ and his government, such that it is, are actually positive in that it all serves to harden the them v. us feeling in the country, and they've now added the legal system to those trying to frustrate the will of the people. The calculation is obviously that the leave vote will deliver them the next election and anything that increases the divisions is good for them.

How is Boris Johnson "us", exactly?

He's a silver spoon cunt who has achieved nothing.

The only choice of appeal is to the European Court... Boris doesn't have the time to appeal but the irony would be glorious!

He can’t. It’s a Supreme Court decision so I don’t think there is an avenue of appeal to the ECJ as it isn’t a European matter.
