On a serious note I think the BBC have to amend their editorial policy on news. I believe they are still broadly unbiased, but politics has changed. Truth has always been twisted, but we now live in an age of blatant lies. That can be fact checked and called out without breaking the vow of independence. I don't want news down the partisan MNBC, Fox route, but with Andrew Neill launching the GB channel which will be The Daily Telegraph for the tele, their role becomes even more critical

When I ran the meals arrangements in a Primary School we allowed £1.65 per day for material content - still gave them fresh meat (from a local butcher) & fresh Veg from either the organic supplier we used or a local wholesaler.

For £30 Thats a crap deal - we did subsidise the meals for those who had to pay, but not by much.
