Bolton (H) Build Up Thread

Look I get the money argument but more importantly we must consider our friend Steve telling us that its getting colder. Bruce may have a point that when it gets chilly we might struggle a tad.

It was tongue in cheek...

Well scrap todays game.....its currently snowing. We all know our players won't be able to cope in this so just give the points to Bolton now

Nah, it's only midweek inclemency that we struggle with.

Be a good game for those who say we lack or should have signed players with Championship experience. They have a team with loads of it, Pratley, Madine, Henry,Wheater, Alf, Noone, Buckley, Little....as I said earlier on the thread my only concern today is our players stay in one piece.

Pretty sure we have a snow related curse too.

One of my finest memories was a mid week snow game against the blues, I think it was the first time we had the video walls working

Ahhhhhhhh!!! When the opposition missed a chance was genius

My fear too - could be a repeat of that bruising encounter with Newcastle back in 2010 (I think) when we picked up 7 bookings and seemingly tried to get Joey Barton to retaliate and get sent off. Some crunching tackles by Henry. Only this time we could well be on the receiving end.

The famous Neil Masters knocking snow off the crossbar with a thunderbolt game, his Wolves high.

Lad I work with is a Bolton fan and said Henry coming in to the side is the reason for their upturn in form.

If that’s genuine, I don’t think we have much to worry about today :icon_lol:

Just pulling in to Oxford train station. It’s bloody freezing.

I'll be in the George Wallis around 12 if anyone fancies it

To go along with Karl...they also have Mark Little.

ex-player scoring alert x 2.....

If Wheater starts, that's four ex-players with Le Fondre (e in the surname yes, but defenders, GKs, and defensive midfielders don't count so...)

Can you stand on the table Dan so I can find you ! Lol

I remember us beating Arsenal 5-1 in the snow.

Was that the game where Neil Masters unleashed one of his thunderbolts and hit the bar, certainly cleared the snow that one.
