Bellend commentators

Savage was much better than usual, seemed less controversial than when he is on BT. Pearce gets so many things wrong it's embarrassing.

I think they are both ghastly.

Mind you neither can hold a candle to Eddie Butler doing the Ireland v France rugby yesterday. He is just horrific.

Robbie Savage, what a tosser.
Re-quoted, as he was woeful the other day.
Jonathan Pearce and Robbie Savage commentating on the Villa game. In fairness, Savage hasn't been too bad, he tells it like it is, but Pearce is just woeful
Both are embarrassing imo. Trying to hard all the time to create a "moment" that is all about them & their commentary.
Both should be fucked off.

Rugby. John Inverdale: "If the match had been 18 minutes long instead of 80, Italy would have won."

I usually listen to the BBC but we recorded the RTE version instead, which was ok. not outstanding, but ok.

What was so bad about Eddie Butler?

He has a tone that does my nut in and just comes out with abject nonsense at regular intervals. A very poor commentator.

Do the BBC have a secret hatred of football fans? Putting Robbie Savage on MotD certainly gives you that impression. What a monumental cuntsack.

I thought his Man Utd rant just now was pretty good!

He had a point but the way he put it across was fucking awful.

'Moses to win the game for Aston Villa' just before Stoke's winning penalty. Top stuff Beeb.

Thought the same. Also panjicked when they announced a very special guest for motd2. I dreaded the announcement of the triffic envelope club bankrupting scumbag.

Alan Green, heard that & thought . Also, once again how bad was jonathon pearce? Yet again? I'm seriously getting to the stage of wanting to watch the programme with no sound.

Watched Saturday's MOTD last night. Again, I'm going to stick up for Savage here. I'm starting to actually quite like him - and more often than not, I find myself agreeing with him. When I don't, at least he's got the balls to stand by his POV. A panel of Lineker, Shearer and Savage doesn't bother me in the slightest.

The worst for me though is Motson - FFS man, just retire with dignity. It's like he ODs on E numbers before screeching his inane prattle into the mic. It's utter nonsense 99% of the time. I'd rather just watch his games with no commentary on, it's just distraction!

Had my first experience listening to Phil Neville, he commentated on Hull v. Chelsea today. Really a delight to listen to. Seems to know exactly what he's talking about and he's unafraid of making big statements and backing them up.

Sure it wasn't Gary Neville you were listening to? If not Phil must have massively improved.

Pretty sure it was Phil. If he's been poor in the past that might explain why he's stuck analyzing on American TV!

Did it sound like he was whispering loudly, instead of talking?
