Bellend commentators

He'll be on his own on BT as it stands as Stevie G and Lamps have buggered off :icon_lol:

Please don't let that mean more Savage or Owen.

Didn't even know he was on BT! He'd be great on MotD

Don't get the Rio love to be honest.
If he says "them" one more time.

Who were the two blokes commentating on England for the BBC? They were very dull. Sounded like they were watching a snooker match at times

Can we all take a second to appreciate Ally McCoist?

By far & away the best co-commentator at this World Cup.

Nah I prefer Kevin Kilbane.

Very impressed again with him. So sad he has to go back to talking to that bell Brazil this week.

He did the Breakfast show for a week a few weeks ago when Brazil was off and was really good and eminently listenable. Unfortunately Brazil+anyone isn't.

Yea mcoists been alright, sounds like he's enjoyed seeing the local sights wherever he's been,I hadn't even thought about mosques being in Kazan

McCoist has been so enjoyable on co-comms that it now seems odd that he was such a disaster as a manager at Rangers (and will surely never work in management again). He's thoughtful and analytical, as well as being articulate. So why he played terrible football at the club he loved and was so brazenly lazy in who he signed is a mystery.

Did these complainants have the same issue with Henrik Larsson referring to Sweden as "we"? It's pathetic, and the tweets that have been picked up on are almost certainly from other UK nations. As a welshman myself (who knew - I hide it so well) then that is in my view a really childish and nonsensical complaint. and then making a story of it is even more pathetic.

Compare to South American nations commentary who are incredibly partisan and biased.

Jason Cundy's comments on GMB this morning about women having whiny voices and shouldn't be in commentary roles. Now I don't agree with him, but can respect his point of view. What I don't respect is him now coming out in sackcloth and ashes and regretting his comments. He was invited onto a programme because of those views, it wasn't a slip of the tongue or an ill thought out comment it's his opinion. Gets a bollocking from Talkshite bosses and all of a sudden he realises his views are embarrassing(because I dare say they told him to apologise or lose his job)...prick.

For me he was wrong, criticise them for the quality of their commentary, if appropriate. Criticising them for being "whiny" is bollocks, and he should be strung up for it.
