I’m sure Garth Crooks TOTW is based on if you score a goal and lucky dip from a side that kept a clean sheet. No Lemina or Gomes, Sarabia is in with that great goal.

Absolutely, he's a moron.
Obviously Sarabia, Cunha, Gomes, Lemina, Kilman, Toti and Dawson should be in the team of the week😄.
Dunno why it triggers me so much but he also shoehorns players into positions they'll never play to get them in.

I like it when puts a player in and in the couple of paragraphs to discuss the inclusion, you get 1 sentence on the player and the rest a rant about something totally unrelated to the player or his club

Sarabia in after 11 minutes of action. Comments. Good goal, but Spurs shouldn’t have conceded the second (quite why is unexplained) and their players were idiots getting sent off in the previous match.

Lemina has to be in a team of the week. Super performance Saturday. Ive moaned about him on the odd occasion last season, when he was 'done' after an hour in a game. Saturday he was 100% for the whole game, winning the ball, forward passing and of course breaking his neck to get the winning goal. Super stuff.

Absolutely. Maybe his Karl Henry v Charlton moment.

Garth was only ever including one Wolves midfielder and had already decided on Sarabia so he could say the goal was quite good before moaning about Spurs.

Jake also has a new book out. Same snake oil crap but I think this time you don't need crayons to fill in half the pages yourself.

Anyway he spends the entire intro being Richard Keys II, working for that plucky unknown start up, British Telecom plc. What a triumph against the odds.

There are little bits of really good shit in there that make the fluffy drivel around it all the more frustrating to me.

There really aren't

He floats around the idea that proper personal change has to, in part, come from within the person themselves, which I think is bang on. That he turns it into Individual > All is annoying as hell.

No one gets anywhere entirely by themselves. You need other people to bounce off of.
