Never sure why some names attract that tic. When he first broke through on loan at Bristol City/Swansea loads of people kept banging on about "Tammy Abrahams".
 
This is presumably in the mid 90s or so, before Gordon was a TV star (and after his fake football career).

He has £20k in the bank and needs another £20k. Standard deposit was ~10% then and this is surely in London? So a £400k flat, in London, in the 90s. Probably worth about £2m now.

And he drives a Porsche.

And he knows someone who could quite readily lend him £20k, right here right now, no questions asked.

An underdog story for the ages.

Also in a position to be able to pay back the £20k inside a year.

He was working for Marco Pierre White and earning his reputation at the time in one of the absolute best restaurants in London.

Don’t know but apparently Don Goodman was pretty awful on co-comms tonight?
I think he’s pretty bad always seems to over compensate his opinion on clubs he’s played so he doesn’t sound bias.
 
I normally like Don.

But his MOTM award for Wilson summed him up

"Wilson hasn't been the best player on the pitch tonight....but he's my MOTM".

Yeah that was silly. I actually think Goodman gets unfair criticism from Wolves fans, some seem to think he's anti Wolves, of course he's not, he just doesn't go over the top in praise for us in case he gets accused of his pro Wolves sympathies.
