Sounds like heaven to me.Moretti on tap and salad cream with the Home Cooked & Excellent FOOD?
I've been tempted by them before. Looks like a good service, tbf.I've been getting a monthly beer box delivered from Virgin Wines for a while, but they have emailed this week to say this months will be their last one, as they want to concentrate on spirits and wine. I'm not too disappointed as they had started to repeat a few of their selections. Funnily enough, about an hour after the email from Virgin, I had an introductory email from Brewser announcing that they were starting a subscription service. £29 a month for 8 x 440ml cans direct from the brewery. The photo in the email was a Local Sports Team from Pentrich Brewing Co, which is fantastic - so I'm tempted to give it a go as a replacement for Virgin.
Anyone ever ordered anything off Brewser?
Need to check if delivery is on top of the £29 or included. Either way, if it's on top (which I suspect it will be) that works out at about £3.60 a can, which isn't too bad at all.I've been tempted by them before. Looks like a good service, tbf.
That's just over 4 euro, which is a bit pricey and not that far off pub prices.Need to check if delivery is on top of the £29 or included. Either way, if it's on top (which I suspect it will be) that works out at about £3.60 a can, which isn't too bad at all.
Bullshit - beer is cheaper because of Brexit - Its a fact - Rishi said.Brewer work with hundreds of breweries across the country. You basically select a different brewery each month and get a box direct from them.
With the soaring ingredients and energy costs, breweries have been hit really hard having dragged themselves through the pandemic. The number of previously successful places closing this year shows that the wells have truly run dry. With that in mind, anything less than £4 for a can of small batch, independent beer is really good value. Anything cheaper than that will be mass produced 10 to the dozen filler.
Brewser's deals are good, I don't bother with them myself as I tend to get what I want when I want with other retailers as well as direct monthly subscription from Cloudwater and NMBC.I've been getting a monthly beer box delivered from Virgin Wines for a while, but they have emailed this week to say this months will be their last one, as they want to concentrate on spirits and wine. Definitely the going rate thenOh, I'd have to check Puttty, I think...
There's a lot of hype to live up to for that price...It’s within the right range I’d say, depends how much you want to drink it.
