Aston Villa (H) build up thread

Wolves have the 23rd worst home record this season - inevitably the side who is worse still beat us at home, Wigan.

I still think it's a big mistake giving Villa fans the quadrant and an advantage we really didn't need to.

We seem to be playing better away from home...make it feel like an away game and take the pressure off the team

Top stuff Dan and that is some effort to cram Mike Small in there too.

Mike Small is always relevant.

Just about to leave - looks like it will be a decent crowd in today.

SB & NB sold out - apart from the bits we don't sell & the last blocks on each end that we do then few left in the SB & BW stands + we allowed AV mnore than usual

Ikeme, Coady, Batth, Stearman, Doherty, Edwards, Price, Costa, Mason, Cavaleiro, Dicko

7 changes from the game at Stoke

mason in there... sorry but who i rate from that team is Price, Costa, Cav and Dicko,,, hopefully we win anyway(can we sack Kev Thelwell even if we do so???)

Williamson not on the bench so I presume not quite ready or has a knock.

Villa look like 442. We should be able to dominate a midfield 2 of Jedinak and Tshibola. Williamson not on the bench, injured again?

Williamson and Evans not even in the eighteen, seems to be experimenting with Mason and Dicko from the off.

Looking forward to this.

Disappointed with the defence. In terms of pissing off Iorfa and Hause that could be a masterstroke

looking forward watching it on the telly..think i will put on my old Guedioura shirt and maybe we will win for once at home :)

Hope Lambert knows what he's doing, questions to answer if it goes wrong today.

Iorfa and Hause are extremely unlucky to miss out, as is Evans who doesn't even make the 18 (yet Saville still does??) Don't understand getting Coady back in at right-back after Iorfa played well there last week.

Williamson must not be ready for 90 minutes

Return to the back 4 that has pretty much conceded at least 2 goals in each of our last 6 home games.

The only change I'm surprised at is Coady in for Iorfa. All of the rest I can understand why Lambert has chosen them (even if I'd have made different choices).
