RAN's complete misjudgement of the flight of the ball for Leeds' first goal didn't have anything to do with Saiss
That'll help him get some rest inIf Semedo is fit again, I'd share the rh side between him and Semedo, to ease Nelson back in, rather than having to play a full 90.

Net gain of 10-20 yards thenThough invariably passes it 20 yards back after doing so.
Helps when the last few games who we’ve played though - especially Watford. Very small pool of games to make that assessment on IMO.Semedo seems to have developed a bit of a cult.
He had a slow start here and was one of our [cyber] Marquee Signings [Cyber], which meant he got a lot of flack. Now there are some people who think he is still garbage, he isn’t, but it’s created this cult now where people seem to have to overate him the other way to compensate (not saying this is anyone on here, but the fan base In general).
He has become defensively solid for sure, and you never think he’s going to get done whereas before he was a walking penalty/mistake. But despite Jonny’s inferior physical traits, he’s already been far superior in an attacking sense from his movement, use of the ball and intelligence. The right hand side actually looks like a an avenue for goal recently which it hadn’t really for the rest of the season.
My assessment has been more on Semedo’s ineffectiveness going forward over nearly 2 seasons than what Jonny has done in a short space of time, although even after nearly two years out and never really consider an attacking option by us fans in our time he looks like hen offers more in the role already.Helps when the last few games who we’ve played though - especially Watford. Not taking anything away from Jonny. Personally think our 3 main wing backs are much of a muchness and happy for any 2 of the 3 to play
To be fair we haven’t been thrilling going forward since semedo signed, due to a number of factors m. Semedo is shit going forward, ive been saying it for ages, this is not news.To be fair we haven’t been thrilling going forward since semedo signed, due to a number of factors m. Not all on him.
Just don’t by into the narrative that Jonny is far better going forward that you’re saying. Based on previously he’s never been known for it, factored in looking good going forward against Watford (who arguably put in one of the worse performances I’ve seen at this level) and Leeds who’s style is absolute bonkers, abs a couple other games.

Jonny was playing on the left. Hard to do be effective on your weaker side. Now he’s actually playing on his favoured side he’s even better and it’s actually unleashed his ability.
Semedo has also played rubbish teams and offered nothing in an attacking sense. Jonny’s positioning. Intelligence and use of the ball has been far better in these limited games. It was also good when he was in the team before, he just had a more disciplined role, on the wrong side, In a counter attacking team.
