I think the character in the squad is actually pretty commendable, all told. The club just refuse to do anything like giving them a solid foundation upon which they can even be successful in the first place. So, yeah, there are individual players here that aren't good enough and won't be, but I genuinely believe that even some of those might look better if we could just hire a coaching/support staff that knew more about football than just "a formation is three numbers that must add up to 10".

And finally, Edwards. What are we trying to do? I've seen us outclassed more times than I can count and that isn't what's happened today. If you had given him the brief to send out a team to deliberately lose the game tonight he couldn't have done a better job. Fuck him off.

Had the ball earlier pointed to where someone should have made themselves available, no one there, turned away as if to play it elsewhere, turned back inside again, was forced to play a nothing ball to Hugo Bueno. Still pointing/shouting to the hiding Mane or Bellegarde.
Bellegarde in particular has been shit along with Armstrong.

Reality is with RE if we get to say 14-15 points he cannot with a straight face argue he deserves next season.
If he stays and you think coming between 12th and 6th in championship is alright then keep him.
