Got a feeling this NZ tactic of trying to chase down totals in no time could blow up in their faces come the quarters/semis.

Lost 7 wickets against Scotland chasing a modest total, worked against England fine, lost 9 wickets yesterday chasing a modest total. Their bowling attack is on fire, why McCullum then feels the need to chase 140/150 in 10 overs is beyond me

Ok, thanks for the clarification. It's a well worn discussion, but after 4 years to plan you don't change your batting line up on the morning of the tournament.

We did it 1999 too as I recall. Had Knight opening for years then dropped him for the tournament opener and pushed well known flayer of attacks (and I loved him, but it was NOT his game) Nasser Hussain up there instead.

Hussain's call, when they are both on commentary it still gets brought up a lot by Knight. 16 years on he is still bitter.
