Quoted for the Neptune, as high as 25s. Will still only be four in March so maybe they'll go easy on him with view to 2017.

    Finian's Oscar looks a 'tool'.

Under new trainers and without the placement politics could be looking at Apple's Jade in the CH and Valseur Lido in the GC. Got wood.

    Horses for The Festival

I remember Ruby saying at Galway last Summer that he'd like to ride Long Dog over 3m and I think part of this manoeuvring has been to allow him to ride Yorkhill in the Neptune, Min in the Supreme and, I believe, Long Dog in the Bartlett. Whatever the case, it's quite clear he's been giving PP...

Derek O'Connor just jumped off Native River and taken the ride on Minella Rocco.

Hands up if you're up to your taters in handicap figures and receiving looks from your wife that would wither a steel door at fifty paces......

Serious. Had a bit in the any race market this morning. Coral Cup or might they stick him in bubble wrap for next season? Only five.

Agree. Disappointed not to see Renneti's name listed anywhere. Had him down in the little black book.

Announced just as Annie Power crosses the line in her first run out this season.................. Coincidence? No wonder they were looking to get a run into her. Willie talking of getting her supplemented already. VVM off to the Mares.........all change!

Now entered over 2m4f at Fairyhouse on Saturday. Dunno. Willie moves in mysterious ways....

Had him in a 'smart' e/w double with SV for the Bartlett which could have made my week. After backing Valseur Lido on Saturday for the Hennessey this is turning into a right bitch of a week.

Hard to say in terms of target. First came onto my radar as a potential Supreme horse but they've held back from running him all through the winter for whatever reason although he likes a bit of soft ground by all reports. He's currently rated lower over here (130) than he is in Ireland (131)...

Check out the entries for the 3.00 at Plumpton on Monday. Fishing for a mark this side of the water? Plumpton form always a good pointer for Cheltenham..... I think this may be Willie's 'dark one'.

John's Spirit down to a mark of 145. Watched him take a leisurely glide over the line on Saturday after sauntering around like a pensioner out for a Sunday afternoon spin in the Hillman. Took 5th in the Ryanair off 160. Jonjo 'at it' as always I would venture. 25/1 for the Plate.

R2R shortening for the Ryanair although that may have more to do with Smad Place confirming target as GC than any intelligence based punting move. Clear that Meade wants him to go Gold and a decent spin over 3m in the Irish GC should settle matters. Personally think he would have won last year...
