The January 2024 "Will we actually sign a striker or just Che Adams/Kieffer Moore" Transfer Thread

Apparently City are interested (internet rumour mills). They paid £53m for Nunes so I want upwards of £80m for Neto please lads.

Nope. He wouldn’t be able to play in this front three. I love Raul to pieces but he’s not dynamic enough/hasn’t got the movement.

    Wolves 3-0 Everton: Verdict Thread

I think in some ways Neto being injured was a bit of a blessing as we heavily relied on him the first few games. I would say that front three are on fairly level pegging now in terms of form and contributing to chances created/build up. It’s a very interesting headache to have. I’m not sure I’d...

    Wolves 3-0 Everton: Verdict Thread

Some of the football has been great but it’s now whether it can be done for a sustained period of time, that’s the key. As Johnny said a few pages back it was great yesterday with the angles and level of passing which really benefits Cunha, Sarabia, Hwang and co. Not every team will let us get...

    Ex-Wolf Watch

He doesn’t tend to put in Wolves level performances but is finding the back of the net again. We were right to sell him - he wouldn’t fit into this team. He’s still fairly pedestrian in the box/when it comes to making runs.

Raul on the scoresheet for Fulham again today after returning from suspension. Really glad he’s found some of his old form.

    O'Neil aka GONe

I didn’t think this could be true. Turns out, it is.

I think we’d potentially struggle to get a better RB/RWB at the moment in our current budget. He’s having a good season this year.

    Wolves 3-0 Everton: Verdict Thread

I thought he did OK today sitting back and spraying passes about, but he probably won’t have an easier game in midfield this season.

The man can hold onto a lead most of the time! To be fair Nuno’s Wolves were just an excellent team unit and the spirit/connection with the fans was the best I’ve known in my time supporting Wolves. It was special. This team aren’t quite that yet but certainly aren’t far off.

Usually brought on an extra defender to hold onto leads. Which to be fair we were very good at.

    Relegation Thread 2023/24

Wouldn’t be surprised if we fancied him even though I wouldn’t have the twat anywhere near here. I’d take Nketiah though.

Add Ramsdale to that list too.

I’ll settle on 1 from Fulham then 😉

1 from United. 2 from Luton. 3 from Fulham. 1 from Sheffield United.

I’m surprised too. Bearing in mind VAR has done us out of 7 points.

The January 2024 "Will we actually sign a striker or just Che Adams/Kieffer Moore" Transfer Thread

I’d sooner have Nketiah (it won’t happen)
  18. Wolvensam

    O'Neil aka GONe

I think it’s more that Nuno was allowed those off days or poor runs as we knew it would be OK eventually/he had the credit from the fans to see him through. O’Neil is a lot more under the microscope as many considered him a poor appointment. I agree with you that he has done very well and is...

Liverpool 3-0 under JL was fairly comprehensive. But today was more so.

Difference is Nuno had heaps of credit in the bank for that 18/19 season. O’Neil has very much had to, and still has to, win fans over.
